“ONE CANNOT PLAN FOR THE UNEXPECTED”
Sir Aaron King, British Physicist
The term “Black Swan” originated from the belief that all swans are white because these were the only ones accounted for. However, in 1697 Dutch explorer Willem de Vlamingh discovered black swans in Australia.
This was an Unexpected Event in scientific history and profoundly changed zoology.
In 2000 and something, after working in the helicopter industry for a combined 60 years, another unexpected event occurred, when co-founders Linda and Wayne Johnson “hatched” an idea to start their own company… and the idea became a reality!
